Every ClearWing technician holds OnGround aviation detailing certification — the industry standard for professional aircraft surface care. We are also an authorized System X® installer, meaning our team is certified in the application of System X® Boeing-approved ceramic coatings including the MaxG+ and Diamond SS products. These certifications ensure every product we use and every technique we apply meets aviation industry safety standards. |
ClearWing works on all aircraft types, including private jets (light, midsize, and large cabin), turboprops, single and twin-engine piston aircraft, helicopters, and experimental/manned drone aircraft. We have detailed aircraft ranging from Cessna 172s to Gulfstream G650s. Our product selection and technique are always tailored to the specific airframe materials — composite, painted aluminum, fabric, or polished metal. |
Yes — aviation surface safety is non-negotiable for us. Every cleaning product, polish, conditioner, and coating we use is either Boeing-approved or independently verified as safe for aircraft surfaces including composites, painted aluminum, polycarbonate windows, and avionics-adjacent areas. We never use automotive or household products on aircraft. Our ceramic coatings are Boeing Spec approved through System X®. |
ClearWing is an authorized installer of System X® ceramic coatings — the only Boeing Spec-approved aircraft ceramic coating line on the market. We install two primary products:
Ceramic coating must be installed on a properly prepared surface — we always perform decontamination and paint correction before any coating application to ensure maximum bonding and performance.
Aircraft detailing pricing in Florida depends on aircraft size, current condition, and the specific services selected. As a general guide: full details for piston singles start around $500–$900, light jets from $1,500–$3,000, and midsize to large jets from $2,500–$10,000+. Ceramic coating is an add-on priced separately based on aircraft size and product selected.
ClearWing provides custom quotes for every job — we don’t use flat-rate pricing because every aircraft and situation is different. Contact us for a free quote based on your specific aircraft and services needed.

Yes. ClearWing provides residual aircraft disinsection for private jets and turboprops departing from Florida on international routes. We use WHO-approved insecticide formulations, time the treatment around your departure schedule to maximize certificate validity, and provide documentation required by destination country authorities. See our Disinsection page for full details.
Timing depends on aircraft size and services selected. As a general guide:
We always provide a time estimate before starting. For aircraft with tight departure windows, contact us in advance so we can allocate sufficient crew and time.
Yes. ClearWing carries specialized liability insurance covering aircraft detailing work and ramp operations. This is not standard automotive insurance — it is a specific policy endorsement that covers damage to aircraft and incidents on controlled airport ramps. We are happy to provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
